The Dodge//SRT® powerhouses of Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) wasted no time shaking down their machines for the 2025 NHRA season, hitting the SCAG PRO Superstar Shootout in Bradenton, Fla., for an early-season test session. With fresh crew changes and new setups, both Matt Hagan and Tony Stewart put their Dodge-backed rockets through their paces, proving that the offseason was anything but a break.

Hagan’s American Rebel Light Beer Dodge//SRT Hellcat Funny Car looked lethal right out of the gate, ripping off a scorching 3.820-second pass to qualify No. 2 in a stacked Funny Car field. While an early-round showdown with Jack Beckman cut his day short, Hagan came away fired up for what’s ahead. “We’ve got a whole new crew dynamic, and to see how well we gelled in testing is nothing short of amazing,” Hagan said.

Meanwhile, Stewart’s Johnson Horsepowered Garage Top Fueler was deep in the mix, throwing down 3.738- and 3.741-second runs during qualifying as his team fine-tuned its setup. The 2024 NHRA Rookie of the Year may not have advanced past round one, but the team gathered crucial data as Stewart prepares for his sophomore season in the sport’s fastest class.

With another round of testing on deck before the NHRA Gatornationals (March 6-9), TSR is locked, loaded and ready to unleash full-throttle chaos in Gainesville. Buckle up, Dodge fans – 2025 is looking dangerous.
