Hank O’Hop pulled an abandoned 1969 Dodge Charger out of a field when he was just 17 years old. He knew it was salvageable, but quickly realized he had bitten off more than he could chew and spent years putting off the bodywork. O’Hop taught himself along the way, and says that he learned “most jobs are bigger than they seem.” We’ve all been there. O’Hop replaced the rotted-through rear end and got to work on the floor – patching up the inner, quarter and subframe panels. O’Hop has let go of aiming for perfection, and instead has his expectations set at “good enough to drive.” Find out what’s next for this rust-covered ’69 Dodge Charger and the biggest challenges the owner is facing with this project.
